I use 2 express. House has ‘n’ for my Macbook pro but with 2 express linked with cable, one picks up the ‘n’ the second then radiates at ‘g’ when needed. Why? well house is on 5Mc/s and means I can use the ‘n’ while others can use ‘g’ without pulling down all to ‘g’

I believe that iTunes sends audio to the airport express uncompressed. Whatever format I play, the network output is constant, from ALC to ultra-compressed MP3.
